JODY DIPERNA
Pittsburgh, Pa., United States
I am a proud rust-belt resident and free-lance, ink-stained wretch writing predominantly about sports. I spent an entire year following around a barn-storming women’s football team, survived more nights on the sidelines of high school football fields than I would care to admit, and conducted one of my finest interviews in a laundromat. I have written for Pittsburgh Quarterly Magazine, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Table Magazine, Pittsburgh's City Paper, the Washington Informer and Thought Catalog, as well as a number of defunct websites. (I am the kiss of death.) I am rounding to the finish line of a book about women's football titled, "Rough & Tumble, Pioneer Women in the World of Female Full-Contact Football.”
