One is the sheer dominance of Baylor. And the fact that they have the best player in the game (one of the best ever.) They had suffered no injuries, so they had a full arsenal of players. Not all No. 1 seeds are created equal. <br /><br />Then there's this. 2013 is a different era. Skylar Diggins has nearly 323,000 twitter followers. Brittney Griner is a household name and not just for women's hoops devotees. These games are nationally televised. This story? Was the lead headline at ESPN.com when it happened. It will be talked about on national sports shows (not to the degree that it deserves, imho) to a much larger degree than any other women's basketball game ever. <br /><br />So for impact, I'd say it's a much bigger deal.
